In Progress Version 9.1B, Win XP, WordPerfect 10, we issue this command:
/* ---Start WordPerfect using DLL procedure, if it is not already open--- */
RUN WinExec (INPUT wp-file-name,
INPUT 2).
It works fine in this environment. The data merge with the forms proceeds as desired.
However, in Progress 9.1B, Windows 7, WordPerfect 15, WordPerfect opens (sort of) as minimized, and the merge does not run. It gives an error message saying that WordPerfect did not open.
Why does the RUN WinExec not work correctly? wp-file-name does have the correct path and executable name.
Is this an issue with WordPerfect ?? Or does Windows 7 not like RUN WinExec commands? What can you tell me?
Thanks, Wayne
