reading of weight directly from weight m/c to mfg/pro

Hi all,

We have a client who would like to weigh some of his products using "AVERY" weighing maching (digital) and the weight need to be updated directly in QAD.
The weighing machine is directly connected to one of the port on the desktop.

Is it possible to read the data directly from the port and update a particular field in QAD during data entry (transaction)?

if the output can be send to NotePad then yes you can use it to input into MFGPRO.

Standard MFG/PRO cant read any thing. Its needs input. If you device outputs the data MFG/PRO can read it.

We have used CIM to load , when the weighing scale creates data in csv format.
