W. Atlee Burpee & Co. is the leading retail/mail order distributor of seed and gardening supplies to the American home gardener. We have an immediate need for a Progress Programmer/Analyst. Primary responsibilities include Application development using Progress 4GL. Consulting with internal users on application requirements, enhancement requests and general usability issues. As well as general troubleshooting and support.
Minimum 3 years Progress required. Experience with Apprise, Crystal Reports, Citrix, Cognos, EDI, Manufacturing, Distribution and Financials a plus. Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience. Excellent compensation and benefits including a company matching 401k plan and medical/life insurance.
