Looking for Local Candidate from NJ/PA NY area
PROGRESS DEVELOPER SKILLS NEEDED:
* Work with Project Team, systems analysts, QA Testers.
* Perform analysis to aid in the development of code
* Participate in Walk-Throughs
* Provide estimates for coding tasks
* Develop "PROGRESS/GUI Code" for various tasks
* Responsible for Unit Testing
* Work with QA team for acceptance/regression testing
* Provide input to implementation plans
* Provide support during and after implementation
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
5 years experience in full systems development cycle
4+ STRONG years in client/server technologies
"3 years with PROGRESS 4GL (V8 and V9)"
"3 years GUI programming"
Experience with PROGRESS WebSpeed, JAVA, JAVA Script, HTML would be a big plus
Experience with UNIX, Windows is Mandatory/REQUIRED
Experience in Financial Applications (Annuities is a big Plus).
EXCELLENT oral and written communication skills.
