It's my understanding that Corticon rules should be easily understood by an analyst (non-designer). It would be so much easier to grasp rules if the developer could add a heading or label at the top of each rule column. Doing so would not only make the rulesheet easier to understand, but it would serve as internal documentation. Ask your own programmers: comments in the code make it easier for the next person to know what you are trying to do. Anyone can see what you are doing by reading the contents of your rule (or your code), but what they cannot always figure out is what you are trying to do. You may be trying to do one thing, but actually doing another. But the next person won't know that unless you add a comment. In Corticon, a heading or label at the top of each rule can say what your rule is intended to do, which may not be what you are actually doing.
