[/quote] My source code can be sent to a variety of machines with different environments (Progress versions, paths, db connection configurations, etc.) This means each machine's development structure has to have it's own set of PDS files. This is why I don't track .project, .dbconnect, or other PDS specific files with the source code. Tooling-specific files / information should be seperate & distinct from the source code and developers should be able to make it part of the source tree or not as they choose.
