Progress Client gives local security rights errors when logged in as domain admin

I am running Progress and MFG/PRO on a Windows 2000 member server in a NT 4.0 domain. I attempted to install Progress and MFG/PRO logged in as the domain Administrator but received a error that I did not have admin rights to the machine. I installed Progress and MFG/PRO using the local admin account. When I am logged in locally the Progress client works fine, but when logged in as the domain administrator I receive errors that I do not have access to sertain files and the program will not load. IF any one else is working in a mixed-mode Windows 2000/NT environment and has resolved this problem please contact me.
