Hi,
We have an opening for a Progress DBA (at least 3 years Progress DBA experience) who is comfortable in:
- troubleshooting BI and AI issues
- database backups
- database recovery
- database creation/copying
- space monitoring
- database tuning
- progress script compilation and debugging
- database schema changes and deployment
The environment that is to be administered is spread across 3 HPUX boxes with around 120 databases having a total size of close to 400GB. Progress version currently running is 8.3B.
The candidate must also have UNIX scripting experience.
Secondary skill sets include experience/exposure to Informix and SQL Server.
The requirement is for a Fortune 500 ITES/BPO company.
