OpenEdge 10.2A02 on Windows 2000

I have installed OpenEdge 10.2A02 on to a Windows 2000 server. Everything works fine apart from the fact that I can't open Progress Explorer. I don't get any errors it just will not open.

I appreciate that this version of Progress is not supported on Windows 2000, does anyone have a workaround to this problem?

32 bit or 64 bit version of OpenEdge?

What version of .net framework do you have installed?

Check Windows error logs to see if there is an error.

OpenEdge 32 bit;

.net framework 1.1 and 2.0;

no errors in the windows event log.

Do you have java installed and what version?

Yes I have version 6 update 20.
