ODBC connectivity from unix

Hi All,

I have progress 9.1d installed in IBM AIX. I would like to connect to SQL database lying on some other server using ODBC.
Is the ODBC driver for progress 9.1d available for Unix platform?
If yes, can you share the details?

9.1D is ancient, obsolete and unsupported.

OpenEdge 10.2A is the current release and 10.2B will be released very soon.

The only supported release of version 9 is 9.1e service pack 4. That service pack was released 5+ years ago and there will never be another bug fix or enhancement to version 9. It contains the latest and most workable connectivity options for version 9. Obviously OpenEdge 10 drivers are going to be more up to date and performant than something as old as v9 will be.

Depending on what the "other" database is and how you want to access it a "data server" may be a better approach.
