The .NET Open Client has missing functionality to handle and create the CLIENT-PRINCIPAL object. An ABL/Java Client is already able to create the CLIENT-PRINCIPAL object and export/import it to the Appserver so it could be validated on a secure method on the database. This is not currently possible for a .NET application which connects to an Appserver. Now I must login by doing a plain text login on the Appserver and the Appserver Connect Procedure has to create the CLIENT-PRINCIPAL and must transfer it between the .NET Application or store it in the database for the context switch of the user.
