Import template using progress controls

Does anyone ever worked with templates in progress before? I want to have an understanding as to how to develop it and how it allow user to use it as well validate if they are using wrong location to import it.

It's not just you. I understand what a "template" is with respect to Word or Excel, i.e. a .dotx or .xltx file.

I have no idea what this has to do with CSV or PDF files or a "progress control" or a form.
