I just wanted to let everyone know I recently installed a PHP update and compiled in the ZLIB compression library. You should see some significant speed improvements for page downloads, especially for those using slower connections like a dialup modem. Pages that are 100k in size are compressed down to an average of about 20k, which means all pages should display much faster. This is all automatically handled by your web browser, as long as it is HTTP/1.1 compliant (most all modern browsers are).
