What is this error message mean of:

msgopen: Unable to open message file: PROMSGS


When I tried to access my character client?

yup, your PROATH is definetly messed up , else the client doesnt see the shared network location or doesnt have read access.

I have settled the issue and I am able to log in but I encountered another message popping out:

Read Only database cannot be modified <1500>

Press space bar to continue.

it has -RO in pf file.
