Answered Does OpenEdge Support Calling Web Services Using RESTful Method

Does OpenEdge support calling web services using the RESTful method? We are running OpenEdge 10.1C and Open Edge 11.1 both on UNIX platforms.

11.2 adds RESTful web services - setting this up seems to be a bit more, or at least different (using Progress Developer Studio wizards), work than exposing progress procedures with proxygen.

Oops - you mention calling - I read your post the wrong way round. Invoking a RESTful web service is not yet supported - see http://communities.progress.com/pcom/message/169957#169957

As I understand it, support for calling REST services will be available in 11.5. I can't seem to find much more information about it so I have no idea on how to implement it.
