Configuring Progress 8.3b to read Windows COM1

I'm using Progress 8.3b [FONT=r_ansi]Procedure Editor [/FONT]and my platform is HP-UX 11.0. I'm trying to connect my portable scale to a com1 port on a Windows XP workstation. I then want to be able to read the data into Progress. Can anybody help me with this procedure?

Hi,

You might use INPUT FROM <opsys device > to read
COM port and store it with standard 4GL commands.
