Bundled Merant 3.7 SQL92 drivers work on Linux?

Hi folks

2 Linux boxes:
Webserver with apache and PHP & Progress 9.1c SQL
client access. Linux Redhat 7.1.

Database server with 9.1c workgroup progress, Linux
Redhat 7.1

I want PHP to access the Progress DB via the Merant
3.7 SQL92 driver that comes with SQL client access.

My question: Can I do it? And if not, where's the
point of failure?
