Agents appearing to die

<div align="Left"><font size="2" face="Arial" color="#000000"> Running 8.3b Progress, & 2.1 Webspeed, on HP Unix and NT4 server starting a agent, which then does not do any work appears to die after 2 hrs, I cannot remove the remote client from the 8.3b database, when try to run our application a error page is returned, press refresh, a new agent is started and the application then works, has anyone else experinced this issue.
