i just get the job of database admin.
I am new to Symix & Progress/Intersolv and need help! no idea of odbc driver at all.
my Symix- syteline version is 4.02
the application server is NT4.
the hostname is symix
service name : ppeoib
data source name: FEP
database name : pppe
my question is , how do i link my Ms-Access97 to Symix system??
i have installed Dataconnect-odbc 3.10 and Progress8.3b. I have tried all the way that i can but i still get the message of "ODBC - connection to "FEP" failed" and [INTERSOLV][ODBC PROGREE driver driver's SQLsetconnectAttr failed]
what is this all about ??
