Title: Senior PROGRESS Programmer/Analyst
Job Description:
- Seeking a skilled senior level Programmer/Analyst to develop new and modify existing in-house software applications utilizing Progress 4GL.
- Must have five or more years of design experience in a multi-user application development environment that uses relational databases.
- Seeking a candidate with experience in full life-cycle development who possesses excellent people and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of the Progress programming languages, database concepts and experience with software development methodologies required.
- Project Lead experience and object-oriented methodology experience preferred but not required.
- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience preferred.
- A successful candidate will enjoy working as a member of a team, posses excellent problem solving skills, be self-motivated to learn new skills, effective writing and communication skills.
