ODBC and Access 2000

Has anyone had experience connecting MS Access 2000 with a V8 database using
Intersolv DataDirect 32 bit ODBC Driver?

It won't let me open it in the datasheet view, but will in the design view.
Lots of other problems as well.
Client is running NT 4, Unix is SCO Openserver 5.0.5, Progress is V8.3A,
ODBC is 3.11 with some updated dll's.

Any suggestions or alternate ODBC drivers would be appreciated. (MS Query
in Excel 2000 works OK).

We have been working with Merrant (Intersolv) and Microsoft for the last couple weeks regarding this issue.

From Merrant's knowledge base see the following URL, the fixes listed here worked for all but one of our tables. This issue is currently in the hands of Microsoft as a bug in Access 2000. MS has duplicated the same issue linking tables from Sybase and Oracle tables also, so I do not feel its an issue with Progress nor Merrant but directly in MS's hands.

My solution is------uninstall Access 2000 'till it works ;)
