Login Progress Knowledge Center?

Hmm,

This is what I read at Progress Knowledge Center:

In order to provide a secure website, a login code will be required to access the Progress Knowledge Center as of early 2006.

I didn't know that, I'd rather have KB to be open for everyone....

I noticed this also. I'd like to know the rationale.

My (and others) habit of supplying KB links in posts will come to an end.
