How To install Progress91c On Mandrake9

Hi all,

I've just installed Linux Mandrake 9.
I want to install Progress (v91Cpatch15) Appserver, Database Server and ProvisionPlus.

Is there a manual,or must I have another progress version specially for Linux?
I've clicked on setup.exe but there was an error, how can I install it?

I'm totally new to Linux and I must get Progress to work with it...

If you've clicked on setup.exe, It sounds like you've got the Windows release of PROGRESS, and thats not going to work. The Linux version will have a command called proinst.
 
Besides which, Mandrake is missing 2 key C librarys that come with redhat. libg++ and an early version of libsdtc++ which you will need to copy over from a RedHat install.

Is it possible that there will ever be a linux-webclient? :confused:
