How can I start more servers for a DB "Online"?

Hi,

Is there some way to startup more servers increasing -Mn parameter (-n parameter) but "Online"?

I saying that thing because the DB can not be shutdown to take the new values for Startup parameters, during the day at rushing times.

No. You must shutdown and restart.

There are some parameters (like -B and -L) that can be sort of increased online starting with 10.1C. But sessions have to disconnect and reconnect so it isn't much of an improvement. OTOH at least they are starting to take some steps towards making it possible.
