Windows 11issue

Hi I am trying to install OpendEdge102B client/networking on a Windows11 PC. I have installed on Windows 10 PC, both are 64bit

I enter details and receive the msg below

Did you click the Load button to load an addendum file? That expects you to select a text file containing your license information. It looks like you selected progress.cfg which is not a text file.

You don't need to use an addendum file if you don't have one. You can also enter the information manually.

If you still have access to the Windows 10 PC, display its license information (showcfg) and then type it into the installer on Windows 11. I am assuming you are using the same licenses on both.

If I type this in says it says incomplete data

A serial number is 9 digits and a control code is 15 alphanumeric characters. It should either be valid or invalid; I've never seen an error about incomplete data. Are you using an addendum file or typing the values into the provided UI? Do you have a screenshot of the error?

Also, your serial numbers and control codes are proprietary to your organization. You shouldn't post them in a forum.

I suggest you go back to the source: your Progress licenses, if you have access, or whoever administers them in your organization. You may have a typo, or the information is from the wrong version.
