Established in 1996, DeltaVision is a software developer specializing in
distribution and importing. Our WHISPER (WHolesale and Importing Solutions
and Products, Engineered for Results) package is a feature rich, high-end
application with all logistics requirements to cover the complete supply
chain from the manufacturer to the retailer or end-user. The position is to
develop a Webspeed front end to our CHUI application and then provide
support and upgrades to the application. The candidate needs to have the
ability to define and recommend procedures for the project.
The successful candidate will have:
* 3 years experience with Progress 4GL and Webspeed.
* Strong understanding of distribution software.
* High level of understanding of Webspeed development techniques.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
The existing package includes:
* All software needed in a distribution environment other than payroll.
o Sales & Purchase Order processing.
o Inventory control & Management.
o Sales & Management analysis.
o Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & General Ledger
* Warehouse logistics with Radio Frequency bar-code readers.
* UPS shipping labels and rate calculations
* Integrated fax & email servers
* Imaging
* Support of laptops & PDA’s
Excellent salary and benefits. Position is full-time permanent, but other
arrangements will be considered. Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.
