Webspeed problem

I am getting an issue that is stumping QAD tech support and am curious if any of you all have any ideas.

Webspeed will not start up due to some sort of permissions error.

This is running on Cent OS 5.2, Progress Version 10.1b03, QAD 2008 SE

Please help, I am new to the QAD/Progress world and still have much to learn.

Have you tried logging in as root?
Can you check ubroker.properties if the directory mentioned are corrrect.
Go in to worrk folder and see if you are able to create a temp file.
Can you start the Admin server?
Is Admin server running?

Dialing in and verifying is the only way.

It is an old thread but this post might help someone. Try restarting Progress Admin Server as it fixed this issue for me.
