SXapi and Real-Time Ecommerce

I'm a website developer who has build Real-Time eCommerce solutions for other companies. I've just landed a client with SX.Enterprise from NxTrend as their backend system. They have purchased SXAPI. My current eCommerce solution requests pricing, availability and login info via XML. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience devleoping for the SXAPI and might be interested in helping out on this project.

Also, what type of software will I need to purchase for the dev environment? I'm assuming Progress, SX.Enterprise & SXAPI.
