Stored Procedures in Progress DB

Hi All,

I am a novice when it comes to progress db. I have few questions if you could answer.

1. Can we create stored procedures in Progress DB just like SQL Server or Oracle?
2. If yes, do we use SQL to write progress db stored procedure or any other language?
3. Do we have a query explorer that we can use to write this stored procedure?4
4. Can we execute them from out side progress db via ODBC?

You don't talk about the OpenEdge/Progress version ...

Depending on which version you use you should look up the documentation that you can find here

I believe SPs are written in Java.

As RHD said, look in the SQL Development manual, that should have all the info you need. There is a chapter on stored procedures.
