regarding cf_test.txt file created while SO

Dear all,

This is regarding cf_test.txt file which is created in user's home directory
automatically by Mfg/Pro. In our environment, we have common directory for
all the
Users working under CHUI client.

As per my knowledge, whenever user enters sales order maintenance or Pending
Invoice Maintenance screen, file gets automatically created by system with
rights
Rw-r--r--. This means only creator have a permission to write a file.
Whenever other user try sales order maintenance program, they do not able to
enter in the same.
Then user phones us, and we change the permission to 777.

Now the problem is sometimes file get deleted by system. I want to know in
which condition file gets deleted automatically by system. Please helps us
in this issue.

This is not standard MFG/PRO.

there is no customization. Can u tell me when cf_test.txt gets deleted.

The actual problem is , suppose I am creating the SO ( that time system creates cf_test.txt file ) and at the same time other user wants to enter into the sales order maintenance, some screen appears and went away. we cannot see it. user is not able to enter sales order maintenance. Then
after changes the rights of cf_test.txt from rw-r-r to rw-rw-rw that user become able to enter so maintenance. When first user logged off from mfg/pro session , the file gets deleted and new file is created with rw-r-r and cycle keeps on going..The user is using mfg/pro eb2sp5. Can u help me to solve this? they are using standard programs.

I cant fix If I cant simulate it. No one else will be able to simulate it.
I dont see why the file is reqd, standard ensures record locking etc.

Dear Sir,

I totally agree with you, but mfg/pro not allowing second user to open SO maintenance when first user is using SO maintenance. I dont know why such thing is happening. Will you guide me on this?
