In a little less than 6 weeks PUG Challenge Americas will be here!

Almost 50 sessions jam packed with OpenEdge goodness. There is something for everyone from introductory sessions on new features and expositions of "legacy" features all the way to Rich Banville promising a positively brain-melting session on DB internals (focused on new index rebuild functions and a little special sauce for the LRU latch!)

On Sunday afternoon we have half day hands-on workshops on BPM, Multi-Tenancy, Object Oriented Programming and DB Performance tuning available for those who want a deep-dive into those topics!

Monday morning new Progress CEO Jay Bhatt will address our general session! Jay will also host a "fireside chat" Monday evening where you can ask questions and get the detailed scoop on his thinking.

Tuesday evening we have Carol Esau in for a fireside chat about SupportLink!

At the vendor expo we have a mix of vendors with excellent products to offer as well as several large Progress end user organizations who are recruiting -- so if you are looking for opportunities you might want to drop in and talk to them about their projects and the needs that they are looking to fill!

Registration is still just half the cost of Progress Exchange (or Revolution) and the hotel is a very affordable $99/night with no hidden "resort fees" or parking costs or wi-fi charges.

Register today at http://pugchallenge.org/register.html

Isn't every Rich Banville talk brain-melting? :)

I love the deep dives, and Rich is a very good technical speaker. But in his talks in particular I realize how deep the rabbit-hole goes, and how much there is to understand about the inner workings of the DB.

Looking forward to it!
