Progress 8.3 & Webservice works?

Hello everybody, I'am a Progress 8.3 user at least five years but, never use webservices and need to know if can be posible ... thanks.

8.3 is ancient, obsolete and unsupported. You should upgrade.

It dates from the late 1990s, and was designed in the mid 90s, a time when Web Services simply didn't exist as such. So there is no support in 8.3 for any such thing.

OpenEdge 11 was released yesterday. OpenEdge 10.0 already is referred to as "ancient, obsolete and unsupported". OE 10.1 will be on that list very soon. 10.2 probably has a couple of years left before it reaches that status.

OE 10.2 and OE 11 both have excellent support for modern APIs like web services and XML. If you are interested in those technologies you should upgrade.
