Does anybody know where I can find the information whether the after image archiver is enabled in the VST?

So far I had no luck.

There are two questions you could ask: is AIMD enabled in the database or is there a currently-connected AIMD process? The latter has been answered by Cringer.

If you wanted to know whether it is enabled (which is admittedly less useful to know) then that info is in _database-feature.

To be precise: I need to know whether it is running to have an alert thrown when it is not.
