Should work fine. It will be invisible to the O/S so it will be invisible to Progress.
The controller presents a "drive" to the O/S and sorts the rest out itself.
SCSI or IDE should make no difference - In fact there's a cute Controller made by Escalade that makes IDE disks masquerade as SCSI to the O/S - Very funky!
