How do I install a Merant 32-bit Progress SQL92 ODBC Driver ?

Hello,

First of all, sorry for my english... I'm a French speaking guy ;-)

I have a Progress database server and a SQL Server, I want to read the Progress database from my SQL. I'm not very good in all this ODBC things... so I'm trying to understand what I need...

I have a "Merant 3.60 32-bit Progress SQL92 V9.1c" driver on the ODBC administrator on the progress database server... I guess I need to install the same on the SQL server... but I don't find it anywhere on the Progress installation CD... And I don't want to proceed a full progress installation just for the ODBC Driver...

Can anyone understand what I'm trying to explain ? And if yes, can anyone help me ?

Hi,

There are drivers you can buy from Datadirect that will do what you want.

They used to provide the driver that came with progress, now Merant does this.

I found a driver on the installation CD of Progress so I don't need it anymore...

Tloo I hope this message will get to you. I am in the same situation you were in with the ODBC Driver and wanting to install it on another machine. I was wondering if you could get in touch with me Via E-mail and let me know where you ended up finding the install program
