Allocated Qty Exceeds Qty on hand

Hello All,

we are on MFG/Pro eB SP3. The total allocted Qty is greater then Qty on hand.

in the sales order control file, we use,

Qty Available to Allocate = Qty Available - Qty Allocated formula. according to this formula, the allocated qty cannot be greater the qty on hand.

Can anyone tell me, what may be the possible reason for allocated qty going wrong.
