Account Balance Detail giving error of 0.01 Rs/- [eB2]

we passed one entry in Gl Code in main account code 2000 for Rs 147.34 from menu no 25.13.1. After posting of the same transaction Gl Balance Shows Rs 0.01 as outstanding value. The report Account Balance Detail gives the following output:

Total Beginning Balance: 178,046,147.34cr
Total Activity To Date: 178,046,147.34
Total Ending Balance: 0.01
--------------------------------------------------------------


How this 0.01 value occurs. And what is the method of removing it.

What is the Balance in GL detail report?
What is the Balance in gL summary report?

Trasaction is happened with base currency only.
Account balance summary, Account balance detail, GL account sheet report, GL statement OF Account all this reports showing closing balace of 0.01. What is the satisfactory method to remove it.

Try 36.25.39, if this fails then Post JV to clear off the bal.

we have done Recalculate acd_det totals ( 36.25.39 ) . But still it is showing 0.01 closing balance. Should we pass jv for 0.01 amount?

We have passed the JV for that account for 0.01 /- . But still it is showing Closing balance of 0.01. We have tried this five times, still this problem is coming. Is there any other way to handle this type of problems. Customer is using eB2 8.6 d. Kindly sugggest sir....

Did you post the JV? if posted correctly how can the balance remain.

This happens when the base currency is not mentioned i account balance enquiry. this happens only when foreign currency is involved. give the base currency and reporting currecncy both to get the correct detail. if you leave base currency/currency blank then you will get this 0.01 amount.

currency: INR
Reporting currency: (blank)

and other requried fields. According to you does system will give the closing balance of 0.01Rs/- in this case. But by looking at the report , it seem like no foreign currency is involved, kindly guide on this.

Hi,
For rounding issue, QAD released some patch programs... I'm not sure the the patch program name... you can check with QAD knowledge base... you may get the solution...
