Mfg/pro User Not Able To Generate Report.

When unit person Ravi (mfg/pro users id) is using his mfg/pro ID…and connecting to Production database – TEL1…then he is getting below error….why in error message it shows tel_rmg not connected.

/free/hal/hi/zf/banae.r database tel_rmg not connected (1006) while creating report and go to option 32.12 24


Also with another user login iunit(mfg/pro id)…he is not getting this error and he is able to generate the .fac file for TEL1 unit in Production system.

Why this happening ??

Please do the needful.

You might want to post this in the qad forum.

But "database not connected" means that the database isn't connected. Perhaps the startup script or other qad specific configuration method failed to include that database. Or maybe that database was shutdown at the time of the error.

It's also possible that the program was compiled against a different database name (either logical or physical), and your session is connecting to that database with a different name. Is tel_rmg one of the databases you're actually connect to?
