Join Sumit Sarkar at the ASUG SAP Analytics and BusinessObjects Conference next week for his session on real-time cloud connectivity from SAP BusinessObjects SaaS Universes.

My job has me on the road a lot, meeting with developers and decision makers about all the great new things happening in the world of data connectivity. Recently, this has meant spreading the word about SAP data connectivity for business intelligence.

This year’s tour started with a session at IBIS 2015 in Carlsbad, CA on Cloud Data Sources for Business Objects and a virtual stop with the SAP Lumira community to talk about Cloud Data Sources for SAP Lumira.

Next Stop, Better BI

My next stop will be next week at the ASUG SAP Analytics and BusinessObjects Conference in Austin, Texas. While there, I’ll be hosting a session covering real-time connectivity from SAP BusinessObjects Universes to cloud data sources, including:

  • Salesforce
  • Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua)
  • Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow)
  • Marketo
  • Google Analytics
  • Netsuite
  • ServiceNow
  • Veeva CRM
  • Amazon Redshift
  • SQL Server Azure

The discussion will include best practices, common “gotchas” and how to leverage existing skills and infrastructure to consume cloud data and establish your group as thought leaders and experts on disruptive technology.

Architecture of a SAP BusinessObjects Cloud Universe

Part of the session will also cover connectivity using Progress DataDirect ODBC and JDBC connectors. Progress Data Direct is the trusted name for data connectivity across relational, Big Data, NewSQL and cloud data sources, and our connectors are already embedded in popular SAP Business Intelligence tools, as well as being available commercially.

See You There!

You can find the full details below, and sign up to attend at the conference session catalog. I’m really excited to bring you this information, and I hope to see you there!
