Currently the Database log file in OpenEdge, shows database startup parameters for the primary broker. Would like to have the Database log file also show the startup parameters for every secondary broker that is started as well. This is being requested because often, when trouble shooting issues, we need to see the database startup parameters and look at primary and secondary brokers to ensure that the overall math is correct. Currently we need to rely on conmgr.properties file as well as shell scripts and other parameter files (.pf) to see what parameters were used to start the secondary brokers. It would be beneficial to have the startup parameters for each of the brokers in the log file so as to not have to rely on these other mechanisms to see what may or may not have been used to start the database at a given point in time. Having these parameters stored in the log file means we have a history of settings that were in place when a db was started. Factual data recorded at the time of database startup.
